Preventing the development of diabetic macular edema
We encourage patients from Podkarpacie to take part in a scientific study of the Medical University of Silesia conducted in the Municipal Hospital in Rzeszów. For patients with the initial form of diabetic retinopathy and mild macular edema that does not meet the treatment criteria in the drug program. We are investigating the impact of micropulse laser therapy, which does not damage the retina, on the possibility of preventing macular edema - the main cause of blindness among people with diabetes.
